ONE of the most common reason for lower back pain -This my help you to relieve back pain

We explain why fascia can be one of the most common cause of back pain and what the best solution can be for a pain-free life.

You are not alone - 8 out of 10 people in the United States experience back problems at least one or more times.

Do you suffer from back pain? Back pain is incredibly common.

It's estimated that at least 8 out of 10 people in the United States experience back problems at least one or more times.

In this blog post I'll provide you with a solution that can help you get your back pain under control

It doesn't matter if you're 30, 40 or even 50—back pain is no joke.

It can sideline you from enjoying your life and keep you from doing the things you love.

$635 billion is the annual cost to the American economy in treating back pain¹.

Why chiropractors, physiotherapists & doctors don't always have to be the best long-term solution.

Sessions with chiropractors, physical therapists and doctors are not always cheap and can relieve pain but often only in the short term.

A standard office consultation visit to a chiropractic clinic may cost anywhere between $60 and $200. These costs can be somewhat higher if you do not have health insurance or have a plan that does not cover chiropractic care.

If we extrapolate that and assume you have to get treatment once a month, we come up with a cost of over a thousand dollars a year.

Besides, this is may not be a long term solution, because if you don't go to the doctor's office regularly, the pain may come back.

The only solution to relieve your back pain in the long run is to do it yourself.

"The hip flexor muscles are major contributors to lumbar spine stability. Tight hip flexors can lead to pain in the lumbar spine, and hence to an impairment in performance. Moreover, sedentary behavior is a common problem and a major contributor to restricted hip extension flexibility. Stretching can be a tool to reduce muscle tightness and to overcome the aforementioned problems."

The most common reason for lower back and hip pain can be shortened leg extensors (constantly bent legs).

Due to this shortening, the lower back has to compensate to bring the body back into an upright position - this leads to pain.

This overloads the lower back and causes adhesions in the fascia.

Frequent sitter in typical posture: In this position, the hip flexors are "shortened", i.e. they do not experience any extension - shown here using the example of the lumbar muscle (M. psoas).

At some point, the tissue adapts to the permanent shortening. Muscles and fascia then become unyielding. This unyielding tissue develops a forward tensile stress that the back and especially the gluteal muscles must counteract.

The counterforces are particularly strong when standing: the hip flexors (e.g. psoas and iliac muscles) pull on the spine and pelvis. Counter-players such as the gluteal muscles act against this.

The opposing forces (tension through shortening, counter-tension through stretching) exert enormous pressure on the vertebrae and intervertebral discs. The body warns of the impending damage with pain.

How to relieve it

Here you need to stretch especially the front thigh, groin and hip.

Stretching can be the most effective and quickest way to relieve tension and pain throughout the body.

This stretching technique can be used very often in physiotherapy to stretch muscles and ligaments in a natural way.

With targeted fascia therapy and supportive training, the fascia can be loosened again and the complaints relieved.

… Wait, what’s a fascia?

Like the white pith of a grapefruit, your fascia coats and holds each component of your body together.

Your fascial system runs throughout your body.

The term refers to the interconnected sheets of tissue that join, stabilize, and protect your muscles and organs.

These sheets of tissue are called fascia.

Basically, it’s the stuff that holds everything together in your body (so it’s pretty important).

When your fascia is healthy, you enjoy greater strength, flexibility, and balance.

If you sit a lot, then the fasciae are not sufficiently stretched and pain develops.

"Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is associated with significant disability and reductions in health related quality of life (HRQoL), which can negatively impact overall function and productivity. Depression is also associated with painful physical symptoms, and is often present in patients with chronic pain."

Since just about everything in our body is connected, shortened muscles can not only cause back pain but also plantar fasciitis, tight hamstrings, sciatica, foot injuries and tight calves.

What a lot of people forget is that at the end of the day, these ailments can have a huge impact on our mental health.

Permanent back pain can also lead to depression. Back pain and depression are often mutually dependent, as people with a depressive mood can usually be more sensitive to pain.

Studies show that a large proportion of people with chronic back pain can also suffer from depression or at least a depressive mood.

The fascia stretcher not only helps relieve low back pain but it can also help you with problems like heel spurs, achilles tendonitis, tight calf, lower back, foot injury, tight hamstring, plantar fasciitis!

The Fascia Stretcher can be the solution!

Research shows that doing a combination of different stretching variants two to three times a week can help prevent and ease lower back pain.

So, together with other experts we have found lower back stretches you can do at home to help ease your lower back pain.

The Orthovital Fascia Stretcher is an extremely effective tool for pain relief and relaxation.

Regular stretching and loosening of the fascia can improve circulation, which in turn relieves pain and reduces tension.

It is a simple and natural way to relieve pain and improve flexibility and mobility of the body.
